AI Tutorial

Business consulting has always required deep market knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations. Today's fast-paced business environment demands even more - real-time insights, data-driven strategies, and rapid response to market changes.

In this tutorial, we'll create a powerful AI business consultant using Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK) combined with Perplexity AI for real-time web research. This consultant will conduct market analysis, assess risks, and generate strategic recommendations backed by current data, all through a clean, interactive web interface.

We share hands-on tutorials like this every week, designed to help you stay ahead in the world of AI. If you're serious about leveling up your AI skills and staying ahead of the curve, subscribe now and be the first to access our latest tutorials.

Latest Developments

Forget character.ai. Build AI agents that have an actual character depth and personality quirks.

ElizaOS is a TypeScript framework that builds multi-agent systems where each agent maintains consistent character traits, memories, and knowledge across every platform they touch. These agents remember who they are and what they've learned, whether they're chatting on Discord, handling emails, or executing trades in real-time.

The framework supports everything from voice interactions and screen vision to 2D/3D game integration, all while keeping your agent's personality intact across different contexts.

Key Highlights:

  1. Persistent Characters - Agents maintain consistent personalities, memories, and learned knowledge across all platforms and interactions, creating truly continuous AI experiences rather than stateless conversations.

  2. Platform Integrations - Native connectors for Discord, Telegram, Slack, voice calls, email, and even browser environments, letting your agents exist wherever your users are without losing their identity.

  3. Real-World Actions - Agents can perform complex tasks like financial trading, screen vision analysis, file operations, and shell access while maintaining their character traits and decision-making patterns.

  4. Dev Experience - One-command setup with npx @elizaos/cli start, automatic plugin generation through Claude Code integration, and comprehensive APIs that work whether you're prototyping locally or deploying to production environments.

Amazon just dropped Kiro, an all-new agentic IDE that promises to turn your vibe coding sessions into production-ready applications. Kiro is great at ‘vibe coding’ but goes way beyond that - Kiro’s strength is getting those prototypes into production systems with features such as specs and hooks.

Kiro runs on Claude Sonnet 4 and automatically applies software engineering best practices to your coding workflow. Without any prompting, it creates spec files, requirements documents, design docs, and task lists for your projects. The idea is solid: most AI coding tools help you build fast, but leave you scrambling when it's time to ship to production with proper documentation, tests, and structure.

The timing is clearly off with Cursor and Claude Code dominating mindshare, Amazon is entering a crowded field where developers have already picked their favorites.

Key Highlights:

  1. Spec-driven - Automatically generates requirements, design documents, and task lists from simple prompts, making your coding decisions explicit and trackable instead of buried in chat history.

  2. Agent hooks - Background automations that trigger when you save files or make commits, handling tasks like updating tests, refreshing documentation, and scanning for security issues without manual intervention.

  3. Production-focused workflow - Takes prototypes through a structured development process with proper sequencing of tasks, dependency management, and links back to original requirements.

  4. Built on familiar foundations - Uses Code OSS as its base, so you can keep your VS Code settings and plugins while accessing the new AI-powered features during the free preview period.

Kiro is free during preview, with some limits. It is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux, and supports most popular programming languages.

Quick Bites

Meta is building a 5-gigawatt data center called Hyperion that spans most of Manhattan's footprint, plus another 1-gigawatt facility (Prometheus) coming online in 2026. This is happening while Mark Zuckerberg is unapologetically poaching top talent to build the Meta Superintelligence Labs. Together, these facilities will consume enough energy to power millions of homes, but when you're betting the company on reaching superintelligence first, apparently no amount of computational firepower is too much.

On-device AI no longer means settling for mediocre outputs in exchange for privacy and speed. Liquid AI has opensourced LFM2 family of models, designed for local inference, delivering 2x faster decode and prefill performance than Qwen3 on CPU. The models outperform similarly-sized models across benchmarks, including knowledge, math, instruction following, and multilingual capabilities. Three checkpoints (0.35B, 0.7B, and 1.2B parameters) are now available on Hugging Face.

Consensus just turned 200 million academic papers into your personal research assistant. Their new Deep Search feature conducts full literature reviews in two minutes, breaking down complex research questions into structured multi-step searches that mirror how actual researchers work. The AI reviews over 1,000 papers in detail and generates comprehensive cited reports complete with interactive visuals.

What we personally love about this Deep Research is that it doesn’t want to replace your research process, but rather helps you discover papers that otherwise would remain buried. Free users get 3 Deep Searches monthly, Premium users get 100.

Plot twist: Cognition is acquiring Windsurf for its $82M ARR business and remaining talent. The Devin maker's acquisition ensures that 100% of Windsurf employees - the ones left behind in Google's selective talent raid - will receive accelerated vesting and financial participation in the deal. Now Devin and Windsurf's agentic IDE will merge into what could become the most comprehensive autonomous dev platform in the market.

Google just released its first-ever Gemini embedding model for general availability, and it's already sitting pretty at #1 on the MTEB multilingual leaderboard. At $0.15 per million tokens, gemini-embedding-001 supports 100+ languages and uses Matryoshka Representation Learning to let developers scale output dimensions from 3072 down based on their performance needs. This marks Gemini's entry into the embedding space.

Claude Code is now natively available for Windows. The installation now works with Git for Windows out of the box, though WSL remains an option for those who prefer it.

Tools of the Trade

  1. Legacy-use: Creates REST APIs that allow AI agents to control legacy desktop applications through automated mouse and keyboard interactions. Just like UIPath, but more error tolerant. It builds on Anthropic’s Computer Use and extends its capabilities to old legacy tools on Windows, Linux, and other systems.

  2. Search engine for Developers: Answers your coding questions and runs the code directly in the app. Uses Exa web search for up-to-date code examples and docs, with built-in code execution capabilities.

  3. Nia: MCP server that indexes documentation and codebases to provide additional context to coding agents like Cursor. It stores and retrieves contextual information from repositories and documentation outside the agent's current scope

  4. Awesome LLM Apps: Build awesome LLM apps with RAG, AI agents, MCP, and more to interact with data sources like GitHub, Gmail, PDFs, and YouTube videos, and automate complex work.

Hot Takes

  1. Agents without memory of me and what I care about and all the context around me are just not as useful

We are so early it is not yet table stakes but it will be ~
    Garry Tan

  2. Elon will release Grok-5 before he open-sources Grok-2 and Grok-3. ~
